A. Ad-Partnerships updates:
*BBLV:
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (JRAD) for July 30th–We will have a ticket or two to lottery off to our Members.
Will offer upcoming show-partnerships: Get the Led Out (Sept. 20), Toadies (Oct. 2), Roger Cline & the Peacemakers (Oct. 4), Snarky Puppy (Oct. 5), DINOSAUR JR. (Oct. 9), UB40 (Nov. 1), Violent Femmes (Dec. 13)
*VIRGIN THEATER: Dogs In A Pile tentative January 2027 at Area 15. We should be able to set up a table & help with an Ad-Partnership!
B. Q3 SandDollar LV partnership event is SHAKY FEELIN’ on Friday, July 31st. Table Volunteer list to go out prior to, or at, the July meeting. (Raffle: Wooden ‘one show’ plaque & a couple Jammin’On dyes) License plate sales. (Q4 event: Let’s aim for MOKSHA)
C. Instrument donations to happen after schools start back: End of August/early September
D. Venue options:
Tommy Rockers (on Dean Martin, near Flamingo Rd.) Now hosting bands (Fri/Sat Evenings) Angela to contact Management via Facebook, Bartender suggested.
Dust Land Bar – Angela exchanged emails with Brittany from Dust Land. They would like to learn more about LVJBS and schedule a time to meet.
Rustic Lounge (currently doing Thursday night Jams) & are willing to work with us. Contact DeziLou.
Item 2: Vice President’s Report (Jaime H.– Absent):
A. VOLUNTEER EVENT
Three Square Food Bank–‘Volunteer Room Evening Pack’, Mondays, 5-7 PM, max of 15 people. Monday, August 31st from 5-7 is confirmed. Considering next event a weekend in October. Plan to discuss possible quarterly event.
Helping pack produce and grocery items for elderly & local students. We will be provided an information packet with details and expectations prior to event.
Item 3: TREASURER’S REPORT (Paige.):
● Stripe, payment platform for new website was canceled. We will continue with PayPal & credit card input through WildApricot (more details TBD)
● 2026 DUES/Member updates – no update, but we did get a kind donation ($250) from someone after the TFTGR radio interview! Paige sent email of thanks!
● Raffle items had: We still have 4 JamminOn dyes (sizes 2x/3x) & the OmGrown Arts’ ‘One Show at a Time’ wooden plaque.
• 56 RSVPs for Friday’s SoulBelly event (through Eventbrite)

● David Gans is confirmed for FRIDAY, JULY 10th (6-9 PM) at SoulBelly BBQ.
*Three 45 minute sets. David Gans solo, David Gans with Rainin’ Moonshine Band, then The Rainin’ Moonshine Band on July 9th -band/production private party with The Rainin’ Moonshine Band
*Lodging @ the Tolsons for 7/9, 7/10, & 7/12
*Robert had mentioned roses/table décor/stage décor at SoulBelly BBQ. I supported the Stage décor, but mentioned the possible table crowding due to BBQ platters/the Condiment trays. (Robert said he would take care of it. Unknown what is being decided.)

The Rainin’ Moonshine Band inquired about a future ‘Garage MaHall’ event.
The Motet or Dopapod (considerations for a 2026 show since those shows went well last time through Las Vegas!)
The Dead Marley Matthews Band (from So.Cal) would be a good contact. They may also have contact with Particle.

OPEN FLOOR (all):
*Suggestion by EricFrobi about the previously mentioned ‘future’ LVJBS bench/donation at UNLV—How about contacting the new HARD ROCK HOTEL to see about a donation for something we can have our name on in a ‘jamband’ ‘Dead’ area at their new Hotel?
*JT sent Greg & Jessica info on a possible future GOLF FUNDRAISER for the Fall: GolfStatus (info on Facebook or GolfStatus.com) Haley is awaiting their response.
*JT sent info on a QR Code to possibly use at our ‘Memorial Tree’ for TURNING HEARTS.com. QR code is designed to be displayed at a single person’s memorial. It needs a flat surface to be displayed and there is limited space on the tree. We decided to not pursue this.
*Last year, we were contacted by Ritchie Lipson, Esq. who wanted to know ‘more about the LVJBS’ and ‘how it came to be’.
We had asked VP Jaime to investigate ‘what more’ he is needing from us & He didn’t reply as of our June meeting.
*Adopt–A-Highway -Next ‘after-summer’ event date thought: Sunday September 20th, 10 am.
*In May, Paige mentioned a future table (Recycled Propaganda: Art Gallery on Main Street) We are aiming for September date. Let’s make contact their way in July to reserve a spot. First weekend in September is Labor Day, so October’s First Friday date is preferred.
*Website update: Samantha Schwartz has been working on our new website.
June’s UPDATE: Via text: We have 1 (possibly 2) payment methods set-up. Just need to transfer over the ‘active memberships and set-up a few additional things.
July’s UPDATE: Angela to make contact with Samantha for the next step(s).
Tribal Elders/Officers Zoom/GoogleMeet: Hoping to schedule an August virtual call to discuss our Society and thoughts on its future! Jessica to follow-up for 8/3 or 8/5.
