Date: Tuesday, January 6, 2026
Meeting Start: 7:16 PM
Location: Rocky’s Bar & Grill
Attendees: Jessica G., Jaime H., Paige T., Angela C., Haley S., (& virtually: Samantha S.)
Item1: President’s Report (Jessica G.):
“Alright! Ready for 2026! Thankful for our new Officers and hope we continue the LVJBS successes this year!”
A. Ad-Partnerships updates:
*BBLV: Cory Wong was announced for an April 2026 event. (Jessica to inquire this month for an ad-partnership collaboration.)
*We hope to inquire with Andrew about the upcoming Virgin Hotel/24 Oxford late-night comp-tickets (Ad-Partnerships) since the WSP has been announced and tickets were given in the past. (Jessica to have Greg ask Andrew for that connection.)
*Reggae in the Desert: We shared their initial promo ad. Jamie to contact the Downtown Las Vegas/Clark County Amphitheater folks for future Ad-partnership
B. Quarterly event with the SandDollar LV: Q1 event: PRESCOTT JRAD, Friday, January 23rd. Jessica will send out volunteer sheet. Raffle item – Wooden plaque.
Q2 event: Joe Marcinek contacted, wanting to do WSP May late-night? TBD
C. People have been contacting us for PHISH late-nights and SHAKEDOWN TUSCANY events. We have been telling them to contact the TUSCANY & have been sharing the sign-up info form that ‘Liora’ of Shakedown Tuscany had posted since we are not ‘directly’ helping with the event this year (simply sharing info/posting info).
D. Hope to have a GoogleMeet call with our ‘original’ founding LVJBS Members/Board of Directors/Tribal Elders within the first half of the year to discuss the ‘future’ of the LVJBS.
E. 2026 GOAL: It’s important that our Officers follow-through with what was shared/spoken about each month, throughout the month. If someone says they will take care of it, it needs to be followed through prior to the next meeting (with hopeful updates shared on our Officers’ Facebook Page OR a group-text as needed.)
Item 2: Vice President’s Report(Jaime H.):
FUTURE VOLUNTEER EVENT – Three Square Food Bank is a great option if we were to organize a group event that could include children over 13.
Item 3: TREASURER’S REPORT (Paige):
● Viola Donation – Lizzy, Paige’s co-worker donated a viola. Jessica to find someone to repair/tune the instrument before researching what school to donate it to. (We’ll invite Lizzy to the school for the donation event.)
● 2026 DUES/Member updates
(2026 Membership special, if paid by March 1st, is $100/year (or $150/same address couple), or $80-$95/year for single membership if attended the 2025 meeting(s) OR $10/month.
(Officers $25/year)
● Holidaze Party Recap(cost/earnings): final numbers TBD
● Q4 SandDollar Recap (cost/earnings): final numbers TBD

Item 4: SECRETARY’S REPORT (Angela):
- Jessica G. sent the agenda.
Item 5: MAYOR’S REPORT (Haley S.):
COLOR: light blue
One of the responsibilities of the Mayor is to create and maintain the LVJBS Memorial Box photo archive. Jessica to send a Google Form to current and past members requesting any known names of those to be ‘remembered’.
PRODUCTION REPORT(Greg):
● Joe Marcinek contacted us about a possible JMB show after-WSP. He wonders if 24 Oxford is open for one of their late-night spots. If not, he is okay to start earlier (than the show lets out) for a possible SandDollar LV Friday or Saturday show, yet the attendance might not be so great.
● Doug (from Terrapin Flyer) was connected with Andrew/24 Oxford for a WSP after show. (We are unsure if it is just one night or multiple nights.)
● SHAKY FEELIN’ – (Feb/March 2026) (SDLV or a Garage MaHall event?) Earlier this week Angela contacted band through FB messenger. They are available March 14, 27-28. (Jessica to send their dates to SDLV for a future gig.)
● THE GARCIA PROJECT (has west coast tour availability, March 5, 6, 7, 10)
● DOGS IN A PILE –last month, Andrew said he would provide us with contact information for Virgin (possible 24Oxford shows, outdoor lawn events, etc.) No update.
● The Rainin’ Moonshine Bandinquired about a future ‘Garage MaHall’ event.
● The Motet, Circles Around the Sun, Dopapod (considerations for a 2026 show since those shows went well last time through Las Vegas!)
OPEN FLOOR (all):
*Website update: Samantha Schwartz has been working on our new website-to-be.
(Jessica messaged Sam to get info for the meeting’s agenda this week. Sam sent an email, asking Paige (Treasurer) to ‘secure the new platform’ by purchasing the needed license with PAID MEMBERSHIPS PRO. This platform will help migrate membership data from Wild Apricot to the new site.
Cost of license for one year is $299 (discounted from $599). This is significantly less than Wild Apricot, $1764 per year.
Sam attended the meeting briefly for an update and answer questions. Jessica to send her a list of our sponsors & add her as ‘editor’ to the monthly Excel-events list.
*SOCIAL MEDIAupdate:
Facebook is the most used social media. Jessica checked in with Tiffany B. in regards to what she keeps up with.
Instagram is being kept up by Tiffany. Jessica asked her to try to log-in to Facebook often (at least weekly?) to see/share those posts since that is what shows most communication. (Tiffany will make that a goal to set reminder to do so, yet Angela mentioned there being a way for Facebook to auto-send to Instagram. More details TBD.)
Twitter–We were unsure who had that account for us. (After the meeting, we remembered it was RJ. RJ was contacted and reminded us that it was now taken care of by Ian Z.—Jessica contacted Ian (who lives in PA now). He is going to get it back our way, locally, for ease.) Jaime H. will get the login info sent her way & we will decide the LVJBS/Twitter future at next meeting (@LVJamband)
*Adopt-A-Highway (next event: Sunday, January 11th @ 11 AM)
*There have been a few people wanting to become more involved with the LVJBS (i.e. Melissa Arcella). As those inquiries are made, let’s be sure to invite them to the ‘all members’ meetings and send the ‘volunteer table sign-ups’ their way!
*Neighborhood Bar has been booking their Thursday/Saturday events. We are happily sharing their ads when seen & can send interested bands their way.
*Jaime mentioned a possible new, downtown music location: THE DUSTLAND BAR (1433 Commerce St./Utah Ave.)
UPCOMING LVJBS (& non-LVJBS) events:
