Joe Russo’s Almost Dead — known to fans as JRAD — is one of the most celebrated Grateful Dead tribute acts in the country. Comprised of five seasoned musicians: Marco Benevento (keys), Dave Dreiwitz (bass), Tom Hamilton (guitar), Scott Metzger (guitar), and Joe Russo (drums), JRAD brings a high-energy, improvisational approach to the Dead’s catalog that goes far beyond note-for-note recreation.
