Texas Prison Rodeo is a four-piece modern outlaw country band out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Playing both original music and the best of classic outlaw from the likes of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings, the band is led by Rick Remender on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, supported by Dickie Ford on lead guitar and backing vocals, Lex Tats on upright bass, and Andy Frank on drums. Their sound carries a thread to the outlaw country of yesteryear with a distinct modern aggression that is unique yet familiar to anyone who loves classic country, cowpunk, rockabilly, and American roots music.
